What to bring for the RES Exams
Here is your essential items checklist on what to bring into the exam hall:
ID (NRIC / Passport / Employment Pass)
Pencils (Pencil cases are not allowed, not even transparent ones or plastic bags!)
Eraser
Calculator
Sweaters are recommended as it can get cold for 2.5 hours in the exam hall
Feel free to bring along other stationaries (e.g. highlighters, pens) if you feel a need to, just remember you won't have a pencil case to carry these. What you cannot bring with you to the RES Exams
Once inside the examination room, you will be asked to place all belongings in front of the room before proceeding to your assigned seat. This includes your bags, switched off mobile devices and even water bottles. Yes... if you need a drink you will have to head to the front to hydrate yourself before heading back. Drink sufficiently but not too much as you won't have much time to use the bathroom.
