  • Ascertain, interpret and extract information that describessite uses and development parametersfor a specific property from the Master Plan and URA Space

  • Explain key terms relating to planning and development of land.

  • Describe the planning concept and development control on various land uses including: 

    • Designated landed housing area; 

    • Condominium; 

    • Non-residential properties (e.g. 60:40 rule, approved use); and 

    • Conservation areas

  • Discuss the need to apply for permission for change of use, building works or redevelopment.

  • Discuss the latest regulations and news releases from government statutory boards involved in development of land.

  • Explain the various new forms of shared accommodation and workspaces under the “sharing economy”, including co-living space and co-working space.
